The winter holiday season is the best and the worst. The best thing about it is that it brings people close together, sometimes literally. As the weather gets colder and cloudier, people are warming up next to others potentially deepening connections as the earth hibernates. With all the holiday cheer it is hard to not enjoy twinkling lights on all the trees and covering people’s houses. Yet, the holiday spirit also beckons thoughts of loss and grief.
